The recently developed function room at FISH 349 in Elizabeth Street, North Hobart has been an exciting new extension to an already thriving restaurant business. Things became even more exciting recently as the new development at the restaurant was firstly awarded the “Best of State” award for Tasmania for Commercial Interior Design at the recent National Interior Design Awards held at a gala celebration at the Ballroom, Hilton Sydney, attended by six hundred industry professionals.

And secondly Fish 349 Function Room won the ‘08 RAIA for Small Project Architecture

The Function Room is available for Private Room Hire for small or larger groups up to 45 people and provides a fresh new alternative to standard hotel based or large scale function centres.

Set up for multi-media presentations including provision for  internet access, laptop connection for full screen presentations and a PA system and is perfect for corporate meetings, business and product launches and small scale seminars.

The room can be set up in a variety of ways to suit individual needs.

FISH 349 Function Room  is available for private bookings Sunday to Thursday. On Friday and Saturday the room is used as an overflow for the main restaurant. Menu options are also available ranging from finger food, platters, and choice of set menus served during or after your function or corporate event.

The bar also allows patrons to have drinks before and after events.
